I'm 23 years old and live in Warrington, cheshire (UK). I started this LJ for an upcoming sponsored walk I am taking part in for St Rocco's Hospice.
St Rocco's is an amazing cause, and an amazing place for those who need it most. It provides a happy, supportive place for the families of cancer victims and other terminal illnesses. My best friend lost her dad two years ago and during his stay in St Rocco's he was made as comfortable as possible and full support was given to Sara's family, and even to the family dog, Belle, who was allowed to come and visit too.

The walk takes place around Warrington and begins at midnight- running right through until around 5am. I will be joined by the St Barnabas team of teachers - around 10 of us in total, though thousands of women take part in the walk.

This really is a lifesaver for the families of terminally ill patients. Please take the time to have a look, check it out- and if you can afford it- sponsor me.
